CONSIDERING TATTOO REMOVAL? HERE IS SOME HELPFUL INFORMATION AND TIPS.
DON’T RUSH your treatments. Tattoos were designed to be permanent so removing them will definitely require time and patience. We take extra care in the healing process at the Clinic and required 8 fulls weeks of healing in between treatments. The more time you allow for healing the better chance you have to achieve a better overall result. Results will vary and a minimum of 4 treatments will be required. There is no way to predict exactly how many treatments a person will require to achieve maximum results as everyone responds to treatment different.
PLEASE keep your tattoo covered and out of water for 48h hrs post treatment. Apply ointment as needed.
DO NOT PICK and SCRATCH, WE REPEAT DO NOT PICK and SCRATCH! After tattoo removal you may experience redness, itching, scabbing, swelling and blisters. This is a normal part of the healing process and can last from a few hours to a few weeks. Picking, scratching and popping can cause scaring and delay your results.
Please allow these to heal on their own and apply ointment as indicated or as needed.
STAY HYDRATED. Drinking plenty of water before and during your removal process will aide in the healing process.
AVOID SMOKING! Why? Smoking restricts your circulation lowering the chance that the ink particles will be shattered properly and flushed through your lymphatic system. This can result in a slower fading and require more treatments than average.
AVOID SUN EXPOSURE. Keep your tattoo out of the sun between removals. Your skin in that area will be sensitive. If you can not avoid this we strongly suggest covering the area up with a bandage or applying a physical sunscreen minimum SPF 50 and reapply regularly.
